A 9-month-old German Shepherd named Kyza is pre-judged because of his intimidating size and breed. He’s seen as dangerous or unapproachable.
Kyza is a 9-month-old German shepherd. His owner, Michael, says Kyza always gets overlooked as a dangerous or unapproachable dog. And while Kyza rarely barks, Michael believes he is pre-judged because of his intimidating size and breed.
Recently, Michael let Kyza run around the backyard of their home in New Zealand — and he made sure to have the camera on his phone rolling when the mailman, Steve, rode by on his bicycle.
Each day, regardless of whether there’s any mail for Michael, the mailman stops off to touch base with Kyza. Regardless of the weather, Steve the mailman goes out of his way to ride by Michael’s house, jump off his bike, and give the dog a friendly hug and a pat. Kyza, as you’re about to see, absolutely savors these precious moments with Steve and proves he’s not as scary as the folks in his neighborhood may think.
Michael’s hidden camera clip of Steve and Kyza is quickly going viral, revealing a sweet and simple moment between a kindhearted man and a very misunderstood dog.
“I’m not sure who to tag on Facebook for him to see this!” Michael wrote on Facebook. “But thanks man, keep up the good job and you’ve definitely got a friend waiting for ya!!”
Please share this truly tender moment, and SHARE it with your friends on Facebook!
